Cry of the Loon Cottages are built right on the water's edge only 45 minutes from Bar Harbor and 14 miles from Ellsworth. They give you the peacefulness of lakeside living. . . but are within easy driving distance of Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and area shopping.

Bring your own boat and try your hand at fishing (license required) or just cruise beautiful Molasses Pond - a clean and natural glacier formed lake. Swimming is very pleasant and there is a dock in front of each cottage.

has two bedrooms, bath with shower and flush, living room and kitchen. Kitchen has gas stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware and linens included. Cottage also has TV and VCR.

Weekly rentals June 1st - October 1st.

  • Pets are welcome.
  • We require a 50% deposit when you register. Balance to be paid three weeks prior to arrival.
  • Rentals are subject to state sales tax.
  • Check in time is 4:00 pm Sunday and checkout time is 10:00 am Sunday.
  • All guests are advised to bring their own drinking water.
