Chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1948, The Eastern National Park and Monument Association is a non profit cooperating association that promotes the historical, scientific, and educational activities of the National Park Service. It also supports park research, interpretation and conservation programs. At Acadia, the association manages the bookstore at the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, the Nature Center at Sieur de Monts Spring, the Headquarters Information Center and Blackwoods and Seawall Campgrounds.
